This beauty has a incredible rich glossy pumpkin orange glaze colored on the front of the plate and a deep rich Pa. unglazed red coloration on the back of the plate. The inside of the plate looks barely used with very minimal usage marks seen even when tilted. The inside is bright and glossy with no wear or areas of scuffing. We date this plate to the early to mid 1800's. This is a fresh to the market example that's in original untouched and unaltered condition. This plate or bowl is large at approx. 9" and 2" deep. The back of the plate has some spotty blacken and discolored areas from use. We pictured this area and mention this for complete accuracy. The condition is excellent with no large chips, cracks deep scratches or scuffing. This is a excellent untouched original choice example in unaltered condition with a great look and presence. This would make a great addition to a Redware collection or a general Primitive antique collection. This listing is for the large size plate only.
