Description: This Dutch door was a beloved part of our house but our recent home renovation made it impossible to keep. It seems to have been the original backdoor of the house and is very sturdy. They really do not make them like this any more. The quality and the weight is what separates it from many newer Dutch door that are out there. Our house was built in 1925 and we suspect it was installed between 50 to 99 years ago. It's a possibility the door was made before the house which would make it an actual antique. We painted it Pearl River / Benjamin Moore (https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/color/871/pearl-river) when we thought we could keep it and match it to our white/gray decor. You can either sand it to reveal the original wood or consider it primed and paint it whatever color you want.We put privacy film on the glass. The film easily and cleanly comes off. Details about the exact privacy film is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RDVDRJA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1Wood: The dutch door is made of vintage wood, possibly oak, but we're not sure how to tell what kind of wood it is. The floors in our house are original oak so there's a possibility the door may be oak as well as the color under the paint matches the floors. Glass: The window design is 3 lite, which doesn't seem to be easy to find for a vintage dutch door. There are no damages to the glass. Additional features: We installed the weatherstripping on the bottom in 2017. The door comes with a left-side lockset, hinges and keys. The door's dimensions are roughly 80in x 32in.The door is heavy but not impossible for one strong person to lift and move. This dutch door can be used as a front door, back door or interior door.
