Description: 19th Century oil lamp wick trimmer, with obscured Patent date. The date looks like it could be 1863, 1866, 1868, 1869, 1883, 1886, 1888, or 1889. We think it looks more like an 1860s tool than 1880s. The blade was made to be replaceable. It's about 1-1/8" long.
