Description: Antique Miniature Folding Knife, MOP, Sheffield England, Tiny Mini Micro Fob. Amazing piece of cutlery history. I believe it’s a Joseph Rodgers & Sons made knife although it could have been another Sheffield maker. Probably made between 1850-1899 based on my research. I believe these tiny knives were attached to business cards and given to potential customers. I’d describe the blade as either a Sheepsfoot or Wharncliffe style. The handle is Mother of Pearl. The bolster is incredibly threaded with 4 lines! It’s a well made knife and I’ve never seen a knife this tiny & age for sale. Here’s a very unique mini to add to your collection! I HAVE A VIDEO SHOWING CONDITION AVAILABLE BY TEXT @ (3 ZERO 3) - 5 FOUR 9 - 1 4 1 9. - The knife is 125+ years old and looks new. There is some patina on the blade. I don’t see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately. - The blade opens and closes smoothly and has some snap. It’s hard to open when closed. The blade has some play in the open position. - Between 8/16th & 9/16th inch total length with the blade open, between 3/16th & 4/16th inch blade. - Knife only. My name is Rob Celani, I'm a US Army veteran and now a full time knife dealer. My business is called Knives Worth Using LLC. I normally sell my inventory on All About Pocket Knives forum. I do list some rare & unique items on ebay since there's a huge marketplace here. I hope to continue to list on ebay although it's become a lot less customer friendly in my experience. I'm always willing to consider cash and sometimes trade offers. I'm looking for interesting knives for my inventory! I buy single pieces and collections. Some of the areas I specialize in are vintage European and Japanese folders and switchblades, miniature & keychain folders and switchblades, Rizzuto's and OTF's. My full knife want list is available on All About Pocket Knives. My store is called Knives Worth Using. Also, please remember to check out my other items! Shipping information: I normally ship using usps Ground Advantage in a box. I sometimes use usps priority for heavier or expensive knives. On orders over $400 I ship with signature required at delivery. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING without contacting me first please!
