Description: This antique Louis XVI style silverplate frame is unusually large, with outer measurement (at flat edges) of approximately 12" x 15" and interior size of 11&3/5" x 14&3/8". The rabbet is approximately 3/4" deep and 1/4" wide. Unfortunately the original silk-covered cardboard backing with attached easel was in such bad shape that I had to discard it, so it will need a replacement backing. One of the metal pins that held the backing in place has broken off, as shown in closeup.
