Description: Please take a second to read all auction rules below, before placing a bid or buying... Thank you + HAPPY BIDDING!!! Up for grabs... An Antique Early Large Primitive Carnival Circus Strongman Farm Post Wood & Iron Sledgehammer Giant Mallet Awesome age patina on this great looking piece. Very primitive. The head is a whole tree that actually has one small piece of bark surprisingly still affixed. The exposed grain on either end is somewhat dry from the elements and years of open air, while the outside of the head is firm and aged better. Great looking iron bands hold it together. The handle has some splitting where it reaches the head but isn’t compromised. The handle itself has a little play where it can move a 1/4” up or down, but can’t be removed and is structurally sound. The top has remnants of green, red and silver paint towards the top, perhaps linking it to circus, carnival or fair. Measures: 34”H Total height. Head is 10-1/2”W x 6-1/2”D x 6”H Weighs: 11 lbs. 7.4 oz. Please see pics as they are part of description as well. I'm happy to answer any and all questions!
