This small whale oil sparking lamp is very attractive with a free blown font joined to a pressed glass stem and lacy glass base. The font is an early blown glass manufacture in a round shapewith imperfections. This small blown font glass lamp has a white and clear glass drop tube burnerthat is a newer replacement, for display only. This was manufactured in an American Glass factory during the Sandwich Glass period. This small Lacy Glass lamp is offered with no reserve and a Buy It Now. Good luck! DIMENSIONS: The small Lacy glass lamp measures 5 3/16" H. top of burner font, x 2 13/16" Dia. at the font and 3 1/16" Sq. at the rounded corner square base base. The glass drop tube display burner measures about 1 1/16" H.. CONDITION: The lamp is in very good condition with a coupleof small chips, tiny nicks and minimal wear to the base. The drop tube burner appears to be newer and is for displayonlyasitismade from glass and string. There are also the imperfections often found in early flint glass of this period. This includes bubbles, sand, and striations. As happens most commonly this is missing it's drop tube burner.
