See pictures and note the damaged face of the clock. (key is missing) There is also a chip on the bottom corner There is an alarm bell inside so It must have an alarm feature when working properly. I am not an expert in clocks but based upon my internet research I am believe this clock is 1860's era. See the markings It is numbered 13644 with a Japy Freres stamp (see picture) It is also stamped CJaco 3983 - I do not know the meaning of this stamp. This clock is 16 pounds!!
