Description: This is an unusual antique portable writing box with a rosewood interior and exterior. The box opens to two places for pens, two spaces for inkwells and one small covered space for pen tips. There is a slide out drawer for keeping paper and it has a leather bottom. Beautiful rosewood veneer inside an out. There are a couple spots that are showing its age, with small bits of missing veneer, but overall the condition is quite good. Nothing coming apart or anything. It measures 10.5" x 9" x 3.5" (not including the handle). This style with the turned handle on top seems to be quite unusual.
