Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE This beautiful engraving is one of six I will be offering, including:Matilda of Scotland, Queen of Henry I who died in 1118.Elizabeth of York, Queen of Henry VII (married 1486).Jane Seymour, third Queen of Henry VIII (1509-1537).Anne of Denmark, Queen of James I (1574-1619).This auction is for Katherine Parr, the sixth Queen of Henry VIII (1512-1548).Size 11" x 9"The exceptional engraving/mezzotint is by William Henry Egleton (1833-1862), after the historical painter and watercolourist Edward Corbould. Egleton's oeuvre was heavily weighted with portraits, and the skill of the artist is clearly displayed in this fine piece of art.Edward Corbould's works were very desirable, and one of the largest collections of his pieces was a Royal collection. Book illustrations were part of this repertoire.Unless specifically mentioned, any picture frame I sell is in very good condition. This particular frame, glass and backing are in good condition, but have been stored as part of a large estate. I noticed a faint musty book smell when removing from the box but suspect it may just need "airing". All other observations are really good. It's a lovely piece which I'll be sad to see go. I will send this item overseas, postage is stated below. I will combine all auctions to save money. Postage to the UK is free. If anyone would like to buy more than one, please message me and I'll send you a quote for postage. Thank you for looking at my auction, and please do click "see other items" above. If you have any questions, please just ask. I'll always help and am willing to combine postage to save you money. This item is free postage to the UK and £29.10 elsewhere via tracked, signed for postage. Thank you for looking, please take a moment to click ?See Other Items? Terms & Conditions Description I spend a lot of time inspecting, cleaning (items which need, not those which should be left ?as-is?), measuring and checking these items for damage or restoration. It is worth noting that different screens can display colour differently, so please always check the written description and condition report if you are unsure about the colour of an item, or message me before placing a bid/purchasing and I?ll do the best I can to help. I take detailed photos which you can zoom in on for more clarity. I label all items in order to help catalogue and ensure that your product description is accurate. This also allows me to recognise an item when/if I accept a return. These are simple, small labels that usually peel off very easily. I ask that these labels are not removed if you decide you wish to make a return. Postal Costs I use the most appropriate postal service for your specific parcel taking into account weight and size. Postage charges are clearly marked on every listing, and this includes all packaging and despatch costs. EBay charge me a percent of the postal cost, so this also has to be taken into account when I price an item up for postage. All prices are in GBP. Most UK listings will be free postage (unless started at prices below £4.99) and I use Royal Mail usually. Overseas items usually go via Royal Mail, but at times a courier is needed. These can be costly, so please get in touch if you are unsure what it would cost to get this item to you as these costs are completely out of my control. If shipping costs change during an auction and I cannot alter the price, I will do my best to honour the original quote, but please understand that this may not be possible. I always retain proof of expenditure. Customs Duties & Taxes I ship worldwide, but cannot account for any duties or taxes you may have to pay to receive your item I?m afraid. Any total you receive from me personally will not include these charges. Packaging & Shipping I follow Royal Mail packaging guidelines and make sure all outer containers are strong enough for their contents, multiple fragile items are wrapped separately; and then cushioned with clean recycled products to ensure nothing is loose inside the box. All components of my packaging are clean and strong, biodegradable or recyclable wherever possible. All parcels are clearly labelled FRAGILE with both tape and stickers. In the event of a parcel arriving damaged, if possible, please stop the courier leaving and take a photograph of the damaged parcel in their presence and ask them to record it as arriving as damaged. If your item has also (unlikely) been damaged during transit, please photograph it in its original state in the box (showing my bombproof packaging!) then when unpacked and send it to me so we can help sort things out. Delivery Please, please, please, when you receive your item and are happy, do consider leaving feedback. It lets eBay know that you?ve received your item, which in turn, helps me as a seller. Thank you. I despatch within three working days, but often sooner. All items are sent for via services which require a signature. I do not ship to P.O. Box addresses. If the item I have sent to you cannot be delivered for any reason, and is eventually sent back to me; I will not be able to just re-send it without paying for shipping again. Because of this, you, as the buyer will be responsible for shipping costs. If the item was originally free shipping I will not have accounted for this when selling it, so will have to charge you in order to post it again. Insurance Unfortunately, most carriers now deem any fragile item such as ceramics and pottery as uninsurable, though some will cover loss only. Royal Mail offer compensation if the item is correctly packaged (as yours will be from me). I do my best but cannot promise that if someone drops our parcel from a great height then stands on it that it will survive. This is the main reason I prefer to use Royal Mail over slightly cheaper counterparts. Payment PayPal is my preferred method to receive payment please. eBay payments are fine, collection is welcome but payment must be made prior via online services, and collection is strictly appointment based only. Receiving your item Once you receive your item I hope you will be happy, and choose to leave positive feedback. It helps other buyers see that you are using sellers with integrity who really do want to look after their clients. It also helps eBay see that the seller is good at what they do. If you receive your item and actually are unhappy in any way, just send me a quick message, I?ll always do my best to help. It is better for us both in the long run if we can achieve a happy ending to a transaction for both buyer and seller. Returns I accept returns. You can return your item if you advise me within fourteen days of receiving your item that you wish to; and you then have a further fourteen days to return said item to me (at your own expense). I must receive the item undamaged/in its original condition complete with security/catalogue label attached. The item must be packaged as well as it was when you received it using appropriate packaging, and sent back via an insured service with proof of postage retained. I cannot accept responsibility for goods damaged in transit when shipped back to me so insurance must be obtained. I am entitled to deduct the costings of anything missing, or a previously non-damaged item returned to me from any refund I offer.
