Description: Please note - I am not a gem expert. I purchased this lovely antique at an estate and was told it was Amethyst. I do not know how to check. I do know that it is NOT plastic. This is a true antique though the stone cannot be proven to be genuine, it is at the very least a large rhinestone. This stone is a little under 1/2 inch long. There are 14 smaller rhinestones. This is nearly 3 by nearly 2 inches. There is some metal age discoloration.
