This flashlight was found in a dry crawlspace while remodeling a 19th century home in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The flashlight did not have batteries inside. The lens would not unscrew when I tried to turn it so I never changed the bulb. The lens has a slight ring in one spot but the glass is not broken and the ripple in the glass is on the back of the lens. The button operates in a flash mode as it is an old flashlight with no ability to keep the switch in the on position. It is a true old “flash” light. If you can get the bulb replaced it should be easy to get working since these are made with a very simple circuit design. The patina on this flashlight is incredible and it is truly an irreplaceable and unique piece.
