Description: ANTIQUE CITRATE of MAGNESIA BOTTLE 1880s. This early Citrate of Magnesia bottle is a beautiful light Amethyst. Standing right at 7 7/8 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches at the base. Notice that the base has a round indent with the letters: P.C.G.W. and the Number “1” below initials. This is probably made by the Pacific Coast Glass Works Co. and their first mold #1. This is from the 1880s as near as I can tell and the Amethyst color and the 3 ring top and another ring in the lower part of the neck adds much to its overall beauty. A couple of nice bubbles to boot also, faint haze inside with no cracks or chips etc. Very beautiful old Citrate.
