Description: GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR AN ELEPHANT /Circus/Antique Toy COLLECTOR!!! Approximately 4.5” tall and 7” long. This is a charming toy that was sold around 110 years ago. It has a leather wrapped body, wooden jointed legs, and a wooden trunk and tusks. The ears appear to be suede. The legs and head are strung with rope, allowing the elephant to be posed. It comes with the original wooden chair that was used for “tricks”. It is in overall good condition, particularly for its age. I included in the pictures a copy of a catalog page from 1918. This advertisement is not included in this sale and is only for informational purchases. It shows how the elephant was typically sold in a set and they were combined to create quite a large circus.
