Description: I have for sale a unique pair of antique carved Indian head wood pieces. They resemble bookends, but I feel like they seem too light to be bookends, but I could be wrong. Each piece weighs approximately 1/2 lb. They also could be little wall/shelf plaques where the tabs on the bottom hook under something. Both of the pieces are unmarked. They were purchased in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, just a couple minutes from the old Carlisle Indian School, where Jim Thorpe attended. The auctioneer has dealt in Carlisle Indian stuff for decades and state he thought this was possibly from there. It looks to be the correct time period, but without any identifiers, and my lack of knowledge, I can't say definitively. Nice Condition If you have any questions and/or need more photos please send me a message. Thank You
