Description: Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia home.It is made of walnut and is painted. The lip of the shelf has Eastlake spoon carved designs, the breast has similar designs.The top shelf is supported by arched top panels with carved designs at the bottom.These arches face small side shelves which sit on top of tall fluted brackets. It measures 53.5 inches wide, 49.25 tall, and is 9.75 inches deep.The firebox opening is 37 inches wide by 33.5 tall.Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It is very dirty and will need to be cleaned up. There is a loose joint on one of the arched panels and the shelf lifts a bit on one side. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship.
