The box consists of beautiful finely grained wood mounted with silver giving it a touch of refined luxury. Very good antique condition with minor patina according to age. No major dents; the wood is in very good condition. Measures approx. 5 7/8" long x 3 7/8" wide x 1 5/8" high and weighs ca. 290 grams. Marked "800" for a common Central European silver standard of 80% silver and carrying an unidentified maker's mark. Great piece! A very unusual and beautiful antique piece!
