Description: Up for sale is an Antique Mortise Door Rim Lock made by B.L.W. Circa mid-late 19th Century. The lock is made from cast iron and has embossed lettering that reads "B.L.W.". The lock uses a skeleton key and operates as a lock only and does not need a door knob set. The lock is painted black on one side and is painted Brown on the opposite side, There is some wear, discoloration and rust as seen in the photos. The lock has been tested and still operates as intended. Overall the piece still displays nicely. THERE IS NO KEY INCLUDED. Measurements are approximately:2 1/4" Tall x 2 7/8" Wide x 5/8" Thick. Bolt: 3/4" Tall x 3/8" Wide. These are antique items and may have small manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
