Description: Antique Authentic Original Oil portrait 1700s -- the "Polish Princess".This painting is most probably from Northern Europe, as the lady of the portrait is draped in mink. There appears to be no signature. The medallion (see detail pic) may give more evidence of the origin. My mother was Polish, so our family called this painting the "Polish Princess." Overall the painting is in good condition, but there is one 3 cm square chip missing in the bottom left, and there had been damage on the center-right background, which has been over-painted (shows up under black light).
