Antique 1890s Metal with Canvass Low Profile Flat Top Trunk 35" x 20" X 14"

Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Steamer Trunk. Real nice low profile antique flat top trunk. Made of metal covered in canvass with wood slats. Canvass painted black. Has the original Eagle lock with Patent dates of 1882 and 1892( no key). Circa 1890s. Has a few travel labels affixed (pictured). Although not perfect this has a great look just as it is. Original lock. No key. All outer wood slats in place. All ornate metal corners in place. Leather handles are present but very worn. One leather tie down belt is broken . The other leather tie down belt is missing half. Interior appears to have original paper/fabric?. Interior lacking interior shelf. In my opinion the damage is very minor and could easily be restored. It looks great just as it is. Selling as found, AS-IS. Measures about 35" x 20" x 14". Guaranteed old and antique. Over 100 years old. Please look at pics as they are part of the description.
