In 1969, FIFTY FIVE years ago, the band The Archies, who was actually session musicians, had a hit with the track "Sugar, Sugar". That sweet song was originally intended for The Monkees, but those guys turned it down. It hit number one on the Billboard chart and a few other places worldwide. It's here today with the 1999 remix. Celebrating the THIRTY year anniversary in '99! The 'Pistel remix' is on the A side, and the 'Julian Beeston remix' is on the B side. The record itself looks great, and is shiny and clean.
