Description: A delightful visual feast . . . The meticulous artistry is far-reaching in its innovation, detail, and humor.”—Publishers Weekly Within the page of this book You may discover, if you look Beyond the spell of written words A hidden land of beasts and birds . . . Animalia will entrance any child or adult who enters its fantastical world. “A tongue-twisting menagerie . . . [in] a perfectly delightful alphabet book.”—Charles Gibson, Good Morning America The book does not have a Dust Cover There is a written note to the person who received this book as a present. It was read so much by my children that the binding is intact but lose Please see all pictures for they are part of the description I would say that this FIRST EDITION CLASSIC BOOK it is in good vintage condition .The Dust cove is gone and the binding loss but this does not in anyway effect the contents of this book. The pictures-illustrations are just as bright in color and classic in design as when it was written in 1986.All the words in the book are all in great shape and in large print. I took the condition of the book and slashed the price for This First Edition book in half. I was able to find only one First Edition and it cost $60.00 No marks or ripes in any of the pages “Don’t judge a book from its cover” Perfect cliche for this book.A must have for anyone collecting or starting to collect Ckassic Children’s Book.
