He had an amazing gem collection with some of the world’s most unique gemstones on display, a mesmerizing Hungarian accent and the "Garage Sale". Andy loved gemstones so much he wanted everyone to have an opportunity to appreciate and own gemstones of their own. So, he created the "Garage Sale", for those starting their gemstone collections, jewelry students and for the gem lover who couldn’t afford the “big ones” but none the less appreciated these beauties as much as he did. He loved gemstones so much he wanted to share his joy with everyone. Andy would have a whole table dedicated to these gemstones and admirers flocked from miles around to see what Andy put out in the “Garage Sale”. Many times, I manned the Garage Sale at gemshow’s, and people had so much respect for Andy doing this for them, allowing them to fulfill their gemstone dreams, what a great guy.
