Description: This is a custom made tape speed selector box for an Ampex 350 or 351 tape transport. It is part of a large Ampex parts purchase we made several years ago from a studio out east that had been closed. We have used some of the units over the years but have many things that we are selling now. We have no way of testing this unit so it is sold "as is for parts or project" It has an AC plug that connects to a large capacitor and the switch with a six pin connector used on Ampex 350/351 tape recorders. We are a four control room Neve & SSL equipped commercial recording studio that has a huge back room of parts and projects that are waiting for the time too tackle them so we are listing many for anyone that has more time for projects than we do.
