Description: This is a set of original pre WWII issue American Optical Sky Lookout flying goggles. The Sky Lookout lenses were very dark and allowed flying into the sun light with out blinding you. Favored by Fighter Pilot’s. Frames are in excellent condition and have a fine nickel plating. Center bridge has an adjustment screw for adjusting for a superior fit. Screw is marked with the letters, “A.O.” Two piece cushions are current replacements and in excellent condition. Goggle strap is a replacement and in very good condition. Goggles are complete with the original dome shaped aluminum carrying case that is American Optical Company marked. This set rates as excellent overall condition. Top notch offering.
