Description: This listing includes 20 copies of the American Observer. Each issue is 8 pages. This was a weekly newspaper that covered both American and world news with a focus on politics and business. They were published in Washington D.C. These papers provide excellent examples of the overall view of America, Europe, and the Orient from the American view point. The dates of the weekly issues are listed below. All-in-all, the papers are in good condition. Obviously they show yellowing, especially around the edges, as you would expect in 73 year old newspaper. The pages themselves are not torn or winkled and can easily be gently read. Each issues contains an article on the last page title "Historical Backgrounds". These article are very interesting for anyone with an interest in recent American history, as they reflect the viewpoint of the times.
