Description: This is a Pleasant Company American Girl Josefina doll in the original version of the Meet Outfit. The Josefina doll was released by Pleasant Company in 1997. This version ended in 2014, when the new updated BeForever doll was released with modified face mold and new clothes. She is not a first year release with the circle 1 on her neckstamp. This Classic Edition consists of the Camisa, skirt, sash, drawers, real leather moccasins and hair ribbon. The original flowers are not included and a set of non-American girl flowers are in her hair. She also comes with part of the meet accessories, the Rebozo and the leather pouch on her belt. It does not have the necklace, handkerchief or Jola coin. The clothes have American Girl tags, not Pleasant Company. The Pleasant Company tags were only on dolls made in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Starting in 2000 all American Girl clothes had tags eliminating Pleasant Company. This doll comes with a hair care hangtag, the rebozo pamphlet and a Meet Josefina pamphlet. She's a pretty doll with nice face paint and very soft hair.
