American Cut Glass Mushroom Parlor Lamp w Tapered Diamond Crystals 29.5” (1of2)

Description: This listing is for 1 (single) lamp. I am no lamp expert, but from my research, this seems to be an American Cut Glass Mushroom Parlor Lamp. Estimated to be produced from around 1905 to the 1920s. The base and Shade are in pristine condition with no chips or scratches that I can find. It has a 14 foot cord that looks to have been professionally spliced at some point with a newer cord. It has an aftermarket in-line switch on the cord for ease of operation. There are 36 drop crystal spear points around the lamp with 1 to 3 prism crystals in-line at regular intervals. Almost all of the crystals are in great shape but a few of the spear points have chips on the tips. I have included pictures of all the chipped ones that I can see. I considered replacing them with a new set, but as these are original to the piece and are almost impossible to find exact replicas, I will leave it up to the buyer on what to do. In my opinion, the lamps are incredible just the way they are. This listing is for 1 (one) lamp. I have included pictures of the two i have, just to show an example of how they would look in a house. They are not identical or I might have offered them as a pair. I have 2 of these lamps as you see in two of the pictures. There are almost the exact same size but are different in the pattern and the color of the metal ring. The lamp being offered in this listing has a more silver tone to the metal ring and the cut glass pattern could be describes as a pineapple/mesh type that beautifully bends the light in all directions.
