Alpine MRP-M1000 MONO AMPLIFIER 1000W RMS + Bonus VINTAGE CD HEAD UNIT CDE-7820

Description: 1,000 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms ALPINE V-POWER Alpine MRP-M1000 1000W RMS ( and tested, by the YT audio guys, to do better, ie underrated... ) The amplifier is tested, powered up and ran signal through, made thumps in the speaker just as supposed to. Low pass, gain, crossover, high and low signal input. I am sorry I cannot accept returns unless I misrepresented something: Id this is a HIGH power, HIGH current, 12VDC amp.. and..and that means ... big wires... you can easily mis wire it ( such as a reversed pole situation, instant blown fet banks or transformers... destruction... ) and I cannot vouch for YOUR skill in installation. However, It has its screws, no arcing marks on the terminals, good fuses,small scrape on the top, it has its end covers, its good. See pics. it does work, and should arrive at your door and work great for you. It will be shipped insured. Rare old school amp. They made a bigger one.. the 2000W one.. but only ever saw one of those. INCLUDES AS A BONUS WITH NO GUARANTEE: CDE-7820 Vintage head unit. The CD player powers on, just fine.. but.. the face is very glitch y and finicky. Does it : Play music? yes. receive radio, and display the station? Yes. Play CDs? Yes. It completely works.. but.. BUT... the face plate is VERY much...a.. a.. a home for some Gremlin... ( or Gremlins? pack of gremlins? small family? IDk... ) .. Ie you press the volume up, nothing happens. You push the power button and the volume goes up. You wiggle the display, nothing changes, you push another button, nothing happens..... then it does it..... then it doesnt. You pull the display, look at the back, pop it back on.. and the volume goes FULL in three seconds.. then rolls tself back down to 0.. then.. Changes the station to a preset and plays just fine for three or five min.. till you try to change the station.. and... . well, you get the idea. The volume, the source, the menu, are all glitchy.. and take a good amount of finagling and finicky pushing to get it to do the right thing. however, it does have output on all four of its channels just fine. A new faceplate ( available here on ebay for this ) might fix this, I dont know. No guarantee on that. Consider it a bonus. the amp is what this auction is really about. I am honest and do not sell trash, this is a good amp and i have trouble parting with it. The girl says it goes. So it has to go.
