All-Original 28" Armand Marseille QUEEN LOUISE German Bisque Head Doll, Antique

Description: Large antique German bisque head doll by Armand Marseille....c. 1900....measures 28" tall....head is clearly marked "Queen Louise Germany"....while all of her clothing is in worn, well-loved condition, her complete presentation from head-to-toe is untouched....All-Original, Untouched Condition....no damage to head....original blue glass sleep eyes have wear to the eyelid paint/wax....original internal plasters....original mohair wig and cardboard pate (wig is brittle and shedding, but still full)....original mother-made clothing is just fabulous, though worn....dress feels like it might be a cotton/wool blend and has some splits, holes, repairs, torn lace, etc (worst is shown in the last two photos)....original matching hat has a wire brim (satin ribbon ties are replacements)....eyelet half-slip and pantalettes are fragile....pantalettes actually feel rotted and have rips, holes, and deterioration....her blue-striped stockings and leather baby shoes are also heavily worn, though were likely owned and worn by her original owner....due to the fragility of her clothing, I will not be undressing her to photograph the body, however it appears to be in good, cleaner condition due to being protected by the clothing....missing one finger....stand not included....from a non-smoking and pet-free home....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions!
