With CGC slabs, we acknowledge the demand for a perfect encapsulation. Every slab is inspected prior to shipping to insure no cracks or other damage is present. You made the purchase and you deserve nothing less. However, please keep in mind some defects are out of our control. At times it is not uncommon for there to be light scuffing on the case due to CGC shipping. To combat this we have a process of removing these prior to shipping and so far it has been very successful. As it pertains to newton rings, we are all at the mercy of CGC and their holders. Newton?s rings are not an indicator of any deficiencies with the CGC holder and therefore do not qualify as a Mechanical Error.
