There are 2 slip pockets on the back exterior. The top is secured with a zip closure activated by a fringed suede pull (tassel). The leather handle has a 7 1/2" drop. There is a single interior compartment with a gray lining. There is one zippered pocket at the front and 2 slip pockets at the back. The body is soft, flexible leather. The tote is is Used and in Very Good condition. There is some light staining on the interior walls and some heavier staining on the interior's bottom.
