Description: AUTHENTIC MAASAI BEADED WARRIOR CLUB -"RUNGU" This is a rungu carried by Maasai men Moran ready for war. Used by warriors for protection against wild animals and attacks. This "rungu" (Swahili for weapon) is hand made out of heavy wood by an elder warrior in the village and then beaded by the mamas of the village. This is a ceremonial piece. Size: All items shown against ruler or in hand or both in one picture to help you judge size. Measures approximately 12 ½ inches long. Condition: Nice vintage condition as pictured. Please see all the pictures as they are part of the description. I use a Sony Alpha 5100 24.3 mega pixel camera with macro lens (extreme close-up) this draws out many flaws that are not noticeable in hand.
