Published to accompany the exhibition of Kara Walker’s work at the Cleveland Museum of Art, September 10 – December 31, 2016. We are pleased to offer this publication which is part of a large and important private library devoted to African American art history and Black artists working in the America from the period of the Harlem Renaissance through mid-century, the Black Arts Movement, and to today.
