Description: ABOUT THIS ITEM: 8" X 10" printed premium photo issued on a linen-like textured paper stock, dates to approximately 1935-38. Blank back. This is Adolphe Menjou in promotion of the United Artists picture "A Star is Born." This was a mass produced item issued during the 1930's offered on a continuing basis by the Emo Movie Club and affiliated outlets. They are identified as ACC (American Card Catalog) item R95 (Movie Stars, 8 x 10 linen finish, several series), a Candy or Gum issue, though they were actually a mail-away promotion. GRADING - CONDITION: Quite clean with just touches of wear at corner tips; a short faint diagonal crease by bottom left corner. Clean back. Scans show both sides of actual item being offered for sale.
