Description: Here is a great opportunity to own a true classic and collectable in beautiful condition both cosmetically and functionally that has been going up in value every year! It has been completely restored (5/25)) by Avatar engineering a 8 man hour service, at a cost of $700. Included in the restoration are: all new power supply, consisting of Higher voltage, capacitance and temperature rated audio grade electrolytic capacitors. The power diodes were replaced with ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers . The Power supply PCB was upgraded with Dale precision resistors, along with polypropylene film and audio grade electrolytic capacitors throughout the unit. Any diode, transistor or resistor that was more than 1% out of spec was replaced by Mil-Spec units and Dale 1% or PRP precision resistors throughout the entire preamp! All low value electrolytic caps were placed with much better sounding polypropylene film capacitors. All switches, connections and potentiometers were cleaned and lubricated etc. Before the service this preamp sounded great, After the restoration it truly holds its own with most REFERENCE LEVEL components especially the phono section which can play both MM and most medium to high output MC Cartridges.
