They escape the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in bricks that are shipped out. Of course, their tuff to come across. Nines are the most popular to obtain, even so when they are EIGHT digits. Making up a "TRUE-SOLID".Solid nines are not printed today. The highest solid serial number to obtain is 88888888. Which brings $5000.00 plus depending on denomination and uncirculated condition. ** For the 1995/1999 Series $10.00's The Bureau of Engraving and Printing made special sets called premium sets that had a lottery to obtain a special set of #12 containing solids 9's. 99999999. This was after you purchased a premium set that contained #12 $10.00's with matching serial numbers. These were on the 1995 series and 1999 series Ten Dollar Denominations. They were not sent out into the wild in packs.....these were sold by the Bureau as #12 Note Matching Serial District Sets. 99998001-99999999. 2000 Sets were sold out for "each" series. The solid nines L99999999A were third-party graded Gem Uncirculated by P.M.G #65EPQ with exceptional paper quality. The note that makes this more dynamite than it already is. The next block run printed L-B. L00000001B. A pack was found with the very next block run. Serial #1, making this a “TRUE” rollover set. All eight digits are in place. 99999999/00000001 The last of the block run and the very next first block run. This serial one note was third-party graded by P.M.G #64 no qualifier was added to the note, and no comments on the holder. Again, one of the #11 $1.00 FRN’S that were released into pack-form containing the solid 9’s.
