Description: 9 W.A. Adderley & Co. England Malta Flow Blue Bread Plate 7.75" These are bread plates made by W.A. Adderley in England. It is in the Malta pattern and measures 7.75" across They has a flow blue design with floral swags and spokes all in the blue on white background. The Rd no is impressed on the piece and dates to 1899 - there is also an Rd no stamped on the piece that dates to 1900 which is unusual. It must have been when they were retooling and used both processes or something. This is a harder to find pattern. All have crazing and 4 have chips. No other defects found.
