Description: BASIC KIT: Includes 8 precision machined HARDENED STEEL threaded inserts with an 8-32 internal thread pitch and 8 Stainless Steel 1-3/4" oval head 8-32 machine screws. These inserts are super smooth when installing and they are perfect for adding the assurance of a solid and tight fitting neck to any Fender guitar...Strat, Tele, Bass, etc... I have personally installed MANY neck inserts/screws for customers, however once I started using these I never looked back. They are FAR SUPERIOR in every way to brass inserts with slotted heads. They come zinc plated to prevent any formation of rust scale. These inserts have no top flange so you can install them just below flush of the neck surface so the neck pulls in tight to the body.They are also stronger and narrower than the zinc/brass inserts which gives you more wood at the edges of the neck.
