INGRAM MACHINE HAS BEEN A PERFORMANCE MACHINE SHOP SINCE 1964WE CHECK THE NEW HEADS FOR ANY FLAWPRESSURE TEST , MAGNAFLUX, VALVE SEAL AND SPRING SEAT PRESSUREWE VACCUM CHECK THE VALVE FROM THE PORT SIDE. WE HAVE NEGATIVE FEED BACK FROM A BUYER THINKING HIS INTAKE VALVES WHERE LEAKING. HE WAS PUSHING 120 PSI INTO THE INTAKE PORT CAUSING THE INTAKE VALVE TO OPEN ENOUGH TO SHOW LEAKAGE. INTAKE BEING BIGGER THAN THE EXHAUST UTILIZED THE PRESSURE AND SHOWED LEAKAGE. EXHAUST DID NOT SHOW LEAKAGE BEING SMALLER IN DIAMETER. WE RECOMMEND THE STAGE 2 SPRING WHEN RUNNING HIGH BOOST AND STAGE 2 CAMSHAFTSINTAKE VALVE HAS 1.397 SQ INCHES. RUNNING 60 LBS OF BOOST YOU NEED A 90 LB SEAT PRESSURE TO HOLD THE VALVE CLOSED.
