Description: LtCol. Arthur F. Jeffrey began his combat career with the 434th Fighter Squadron, 479th Fighter Group flying P-38s. He was the first 8th Air Force fighter pilot to shoot down an Me-163 Komet, Germany’s rocket fighter. LtCol. Jeffrey would go on to become the group’s leading ace with 14 air to air victories of which 10 were scored in the Mustang. His personal mount was a P-51D named BOOMERANG “JR.“ This is an open end art reproduction print and measures 8.5X11.
