He was the first 8th Air Force fighter pilot to shoot down an Me-163 Komet, Germany’s rocket fighter. LtCol. Jeffrey would go on to become the group’s leading ace with 14 air to air victories of which 10 were scored in the Mustang. His personal mount was a P-51D named BOOMERANG “JR.“ This 8X10 matted print will fit in most ready-made frames.
