Slipcover acceptable - has wear, a few scratches and chips around the opening. The Red and the Black - Very Good - Book has very minor fading on the spine and cover, and some of the spine lettering has some wear otherwise beautiful condition. Slipcover has some sunning. The Story of Manon Lescaut - The Book is good, with no obvious flaws other than the tanning of pages due to age, and it includes the original advertisement from the Heritage Club for the book. The Slipcover is poor - splitting both ends and very worn and chipped.
