Description: Offered is a 2009-P FORMATIVE YEARS "POPULAR" "CATFISH ABE" LINCOLN CENT "CLASHING" ERROR!! There are pronounced straight lines under Abe Lincoln's Chin and Beard which are "clashing marks" from the Reverse die hitting the Obverse die when there was an absent coining planchet in between them! This caused the Reverse die to make an impression (clash) on the Obverse die looking like "Catfish" whiskers under Lincoln's chin, hence the description "CATFISH ABE"!!! The coin you receive will be a properly attributed as described! The Die Stage will be my choice. I found many of these Doubled Die Cents in 2009 in the Central area of Kentucky!!
