This set includes an 18-piece race course with starting line and banked corners, two remote control steerable race cars with original remotes, a traffic cone and barrels. It is not complete as starting line and end over track pieces and some accessories are missing. The original box and instructions are not included. The cars and remotes were tested with new batteries and work fine. The cars and remotes each require two AA batteries which are not included per eBay safe shipping guidelines. Each uses a different frequency so they can race against each other. The red car has a remote with orange buttons and the blue car has a remote with green buttons. The set is perfect for kids aged 5 and above.Tomy’s innovative “sensor” technology used in its AI Tech Racing brand, features cars with the ability to detect and avoid obstacles, and negotiate turns and corners without input from the user. The vehicles have unique sensors that allow the vehicles to dodge obstacles and race to the finish line. Auto control steering system recognizes the course and obstacles by sensors transmitted from the front bumper. Unlike traditional “slot” cars and similar vehicles that are guided by grooves or “slots” in the track on which they run, AI Tech Racing can be enjoyed on or off the track. The included remote controls allow users to control the speed of their vehicle including turbo speed to pass their opponent while obstacles and barriers increase the fun and difficulty. Included is one of the original six barriers (a set of barrels), but my grandkids used other lightweight small items on the track that the cars would swerve to avoid.
