Description: I've listed this Warwick at the lowest I can go while paying eBay's fees and covering insured shipping with a signature to any destination in the CONUS. That said, please see my trade list is below. Up for sale or trade is my beautiful 2004 Warwick Corvette Standard Fretless. I’m thinning the herd a bit and this one doesn’t get played as often as it should. While I have owned it, this bass has never been gigged or left my climate-controlled home studio. The figuring on the bubinga body is superb and the ovangkol neck and ebony fingerboard are rugged and straight with just a hint of relief (set up with 0.008”). While this bass is in great condition for 20 years, it isn’t perfect, so I classified its condition as "Very Good". For the sake of 100% transparency, the following areas are of note. The two retention tabs are snapped off of the JAN2. This is pretty typical for Warwick basses of this vintage and is easily solved by installing a new JAN3 (which would be my plan if I were to keep the instrument). The fingerboard has indications of strings being present, but has held up well and is not grooved. Also, the glue joints in the neck layers near the headstock and (slightly) on the back of the body near the strap button are noticeable, also pretty typical of these early 2000s Warwick basses due to years of expansion and retraction of the wood. With all of that said, this bass is in great shape and plays and sounds amazing. Unlike a few of my other fretless basses, it’s only had flat wounds since I’ve owned it. I’ve recently cleaned and conditioned the fingerboard with F-One oil, waxed the body and neck, cleaned all the hardware thoroughly, and performed a full setup. I’ve tried to capture its condition in the photos, but you only get 24 in an eBay listing. In addition to the pictures in this listing, I have all 141 available in a media album, including those that document the recent maintenance.
