Description: This is the 2001 MTG Invitational Duplicate Limited Complete Set of Playtest Cards. Sets were given to the 16 participants of the 2001 Magic Invitational in South Africa. This was Chris Benafel’s set that was damaged upon his return to Oregon from South Africa when je dropped them into a rain gutter. I have saved them since then in my personal collection, but now I’m ready to offer them to the public. The set includes 10 cards in English language, 2 each of the five colors Red, White, Blue, Black, and Green. The cards are manufactured by Wizards of the Coast and are damaged by the player in the event, making them a unique and rare historical find for collectors. These Duplicate Limited cards were never publicly available. this set is a must-have for the most serious of Magic: The Gathering collectors.
