I highly recommend and have been using these leg rings for years to identify my own gouldians, parrot finches, mannikins and zebra finches. They measure 5mm in height, and have a 2.5mm inner diameter, they are alot cheaper then you would pay for the thin aluminium type leg rings. Rings are easy to apply here are some simple instructions: Start by forcing a band on the applicator tool. Be sure the split opens up on the side with the trough, holding the finch firmly, extend the leg the band will be applied to. Place the band opening over the leg, the leg should now rest in the trough. Place a finger on the band and slip the tool away, leaving the band on the leg. Check the fit. The band should be loose on the leg, but not so loose that it will slip over the foot. This sale includes 200 split leg bands in your choice of 10 different colours and 1 FREE leg ring applicator.
