I sometimes send out cleaned seeds, so they might not be the green or yellow color in the pictures. We have been growing these for 15 years now in the Tampa Bay area (zone 10). They grow easily and bloom consistently without any fertilizer or extra watering. These are super easy to germinate and grow! Growing Instructions 1. Soak seeds in water for 24 hours, which helps break down the seed coating and loosens up the husk surrounding the seed. 2. Place seeds in a moist mixture of half potting soil and half sand, perlite or vermiculite. 3. Put pots in a warm area, seeds germinate in 1-3 months. 4. Transplant into larger pot or directly in soil. Simple!
