Description: Here are 2 vintage tax notices to J.E. Webb, a Retailer of Merchandise, from the Chester Co., PA Mercantile Appraiser. These are tax notices imposed in 1876 & later 79/80. (The one seems to show a correction on the date from 1879 to 80.) The documents measure about 8 X 5 inches and were pre-printed and completed by hand. Only one shows the county - Chester - but both are addressed to J.E. Webb. They are in nice condition but show some yellowing. Please see the pictures and ask any questions. Thank you for looking.
